Our Remodeling Process

Every successful remodel starts with listening. Many homeowners come to us with ideas and questions about what is possible. In this first meeting, we learn about your goals, style, needs, and budget. We talk through what to expect when remodeling your home and explain how we handle older houses, hidden surprises, and timelines. This builds trust from the beginning.

The scope of your project shapes everything that happens next. Soon after our first talk, we sit down again to share a clear plan, a straightforward estimate, and design ideas you can picture in your own home. We review your budget range and the projected cost of your remodel with our cost guide, and talk through the remodeling project timeline so there are no surprises later.

When you feel confident about the plan and the numbers, we put 
it in writing. Signing the contract adds your project to our schedule. We limit the number of remodeling projects we take on at one time. 
This means your basement renovation, bathroom remodel, or home addition gets our full attention.

This is where your vision takes shape as you choose features and finishes. Many homeowners say choosing finishes is the best part of remodeling their kitchen or bathroom. We make it simple and clear.

Here's how we do it:

• We share a detailed Google Doc with a list of everything you will pick and realistic budget allowances.
• Our designers help you choose trusted local suppliers for flooring, tile, countertops, cabinets, fixtures, and lighting.
• You meet our custom cabinet maker to finalize the layout, wood type, finishes, and door styles.
• We guide you step by step so you feel in control and never lost in too many choices.

While you make selections, our trade partners visit your home.
They check the project in person, ask questions, and prepare detailed bids for things like plumbing, electrical, flooring, and tile work. This extra step keeps your remodeling project realistic and helps avoid surprises later.

The construction phase is when your new space becomes real. Whether you are remodeling a kitchen, updating a bathroom, 
or reworking an entire floor, our team follows the plan carefully and keeps you updated. You get a custom calendar for your projects, 
so you know what is happening and when. We handle product orders, coordinate with trade partners, and solve issues early so your project keeps moving forward. Take a look at our work and imagine what your finished result might look like.

When construction is complete, we walk through your finished space with you. Together, we check each room and make a punch list for any final touch-ups. We do not consider the project finished until you are happy with every detail.

Once every item is complete, we meet again to thank you for trusting us with your home. We share a small gift card as a thank you. We also ask for your honest feedback and invite you to share your experience so others know what to expect when they choose us as their Twin Cities remodeler.
