Executive Remodeling converted our old, cold basement playroom with a worn-out fifties decor and ceiling tiles of various heights for vents and pipes into a warm and inviting relaxation/entertainment room with an attached bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a library nook. The area now contains two Lazy Boy recliners, a flat-screen TV, and is decorated with a half-century of memorabilia.

Raymond’s vision for his basement definitely took some work, and he had a lot of ideas along the way, but we managed to keep him happy and the project moving along smoothly.

Using block glass windows as replacements for the old window well panes provides a softer light and higher security. Thanks to my designer for understanding and organizing the myriad requests into a coherent plan. Their crew was efficient and always friendly. Special mention should be made of my project manager as well, who was always ready to stop by to correct a problem, omission, or add that special touch.

Our kitchen, dining room, back hall, and bathroom were the result of remodels by previous owners 30-40 years prior & desperately needed to be redone. Many original elements had been removed or changed beyond recognition. 1. This was our first big renovation. We weren't prepared for some of the decisions we needed to make before the project started. 2. Guidelines for what was expected of us before the project began wasn't clear, such as selection of: backsplash, lighting , tiles etc. 3.
